Students are invited to bid for funds to organise a PG conference.
The Birmingham, Nottingham and Warwick ESRC Doctoral Training Centres (DTC) – working together as the Midlands Graduate School (MGS) – are pleased to announce a competition for up to eight Doctoral Event Grants.
Each Grant will consist of a conference budget of up to £1000 to organise a one-day interdisciplinary postgraduate conference. The conferences are to be held at any of the three universities during the academic year 2014-2015 or 2015-2016, and are to be designed to include participants from at least two, and preferably all three, of the MGS partners.
If you will have completed at least one year of full-time research (or part-time equivalent) of doctoral research by 1 October 2015, you are eligible to apply. There are three rolling deadlines:
- 12 December 2014
- 13 March 2015
- 12 June 2015
