Building Services
The Building Services team consists of Building Surveyors, lead by
Steve Gilbert. They are responsible for the routine upkeep and long term maintenance of the building fabric and road Infrastructure of the various University Campuses, Medical Schools and University houses. The team also provides project management and feasiability advice for all building projects, whether they be minor or major.
Responsive and cyclical maintenance is supported by the Estates Office
Direct Labour Organisation of Plumbers and Joiners. The DLO is supported by a group of approved contractors when necessary.
Day to day requests for Building Services should be directed through the
Estates Helpdesk.
