How to apply for your first University Card
Once you are confirmed as a student / member of staff and have an email on file you will be emailed with a link to the application web site, which will include your login and password. If you do not receive this email then you may follow the process below. Please only follow this process if you have never before applied for a University Card. If you have previously held a University card and simply need a replacement then you will need to click onto the 'Replacement Cards' link to the left instead.
To apply for your first card you will need...
1) A digital photograph of yourself
2) Your username and password (see the red text below)
3) To visit this site: https://secure.cardyourself.com/nottingham/login.asp
The username for students is your email address as recorded in the University's student record system (or your surname if no email has been provided) and your password is your student id. For staff the username is your University email address (or your surname if you do not have a University email address) and your password is your payroll number. If you have any difficulty in logging in then contact University card support for assistance (details supplied at the bottom of this page).
If you do not have a digital photo of yourself then you can visit the security office at the rear of the Hallward Library, University Park and have your photograph taken. If you are a new student and you have not uploaded your photo prior to registration then photograph stations are provided at registration, however, this will delay the receipt of your card.

Once you visit the link above you will be presented with this login page...
Once you have logged in you will need to browse your PC for the digital photograph of yourself...
Once you have uploaded your photo you will be asked to confirm that it is OK...
You can then click onto the Logout button and your card will be scheduled for production.
So what happens next, when and how will I get my card?
Once your photo has been uploaded then your card will be produced within 3-5 days. If you are a current student then your card will be available for collection from your school office. If you are a new student and have uploaded your photo prior to registration then your card will be available for collection at registration. If you are a member of staff then University card support will be in contact with you to arrange the collection of your card.
