More
about the ETC
The Environmental Technology Centre (ETC) was founded in 2000 at
the University of Nottingham, specifically to help small and medium
sized businesses to make improvements through the adoption of more
efficient use of resources, environmentally friendly working practises
and the use of cleaner and more sustainable technologies.

Did
you know?
The ETC helped Premier Foods save over £110,000 a year by
reducing energy consumption at its site in Worksop, Nottinghamshire
by just 5%.
These savings have resulted in an annual reduction of 1100 tonnes
of CO2 emissions and the project was recently awarded the 2008 Innovation
for Sustainability Lord Stafford Award, which encourages collaborative
relationships between businesses and universities.
