Spanish invasion of the ETC!

Laura Mayhew-ManconWe are happy to announce that we have recently taken on two new employees, Laura Mayhew-Manchon and Cristina Calleja, who by coincidence, are both Spanish.

Laura Mayhew-Manchon has a background in holistic environmental management and organisational sustainability, accrued by working closely with NHS trusts, local government and businesses in a number of capacities.

She also has experience in environmental education and training and one of her key interests is to support others in transforming their strategic environmental aims into measurable and meaningful actions on the ground.

Cristina CallejaCristina Calleja joins us from Leicester City Council where she worked as a Waste Minimisation Officer. She is experienced in overseeing corporate waste activities and investigating opportunities for recycling and waste minimisation and can also advise on environmental compliance and legislation.

Cristina also recently volunteered for the Earth Observation Centre where she researched the effect of combined heat and power plants on climate change and local air quality plans.

We'd like to welcome both Laura and Cristina to the Environmental Technology Centre team.
