International Office
The International Office offers a professional and confidential advisory service to all International and EU students both before they arrive at the University and once they are here. The Student Advisers offer specialist advice on a wide range of issues including immigration, financial matters, personal/family concerns and academic difficulties. We operate a drop-in service or students can make an appointment if they prefer. We are also able to offer advice by email or over the telephone.
They organise a wide range of social events throughout the year. From day trips to cities such as London, Liverpool and York to outings to the seaside. Students can also enjoy traditional British pastimes such as car boot sales and football and cricket matches. We also organise special events for students with families such as the children's Christmas party and coffee mornings for partners attending the English Language classes.
Family Link is a University initiated scheme which provides students with the opportunity to meet up with local families for short visits such as Sunday lunch.
You can find other information such as living and working in the UK, visa requirements etc from the University's International Office website.
