Research interests include:EU INCO-DC: Natural resource functions, biodiversity and sustainable management of tropical peatland (EUTROP); INCO-DEV: Strategies for implementing Sustainable Management of Peatlands in Borneo (STRAPEAT); Darwin Initiative: impact of land use change and fire on the sustainability of peat swamp forest in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia (DARTROP); International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW): monitoring and protection of Orang-Utan and other wildlife in peat swamp forest of Central Kalimantan, Indonesia (IFAWTROP).
