BGS intern Yuanyin Li wins Best Student Presentation

Yuanyin Li, a BGS intern and an undergraduate student from the University of Nottingham, has won the Best Student Presentation award after competing with eight PhD students at the 17th UK-CARE annual conference, Oxford University, on 7 October 2017.

Yuanyin has been working with Lei Wang to investigate the impacts of future land-use change on nitrate leaching and nitrate pollution in groundwater, which is an international problem. The presentation has drawn the attention of staff from the Environment Agency.
