The School of Geography is a leading international centre of postgraduate teaching and research. The taught masters programmes attract around 70 students a year.

We offer a diverse range of postgraduate programmes that have numerous beneficial applications and impacts for today's society. They will equip you with essential skills and specialist knowledge, which will enhance your global career development.

Postgraduate students are an integral part of the wider research and teaching community of the school and enjoy high levels of support. Masters students have full access to school facilities, including the dedicated postgraduate computing laboratory, physical laboratories, and a resource centre.

All our masters students receive one-to-one supervision for their dissertation. Your supervisor will be a research-active member of the academic staff who can provide genuinely expert guidance.
