OWTNM 2010
The XVIIIth International Workshop on Optical Waveguide Theory and Numerical Modelling will be held in Cambridge, UK April 9-10, 2010. The meeting is collocated with the 15th European Conference on Integrated Optics.
The OWTNM workshop has, since 1992, provided a forum for lively debates, intended to bring forward new ideas in the field of theoretical optics and related numerical techniques. Basic physics and novel applications, artificially structured materials and new devices, elegant mathematical techniques and efficient numerical methods to tackle Maxwell's equations form the constantly evolving subjects which are discussed in a traditionally open and relaxed atmosphere.
This year we are hoping to include a focus session on the "Future of Metamaterials in the Optical Domain".
