Human Head

The animation below shows the results of a TLM simulation of a dipole antenna radiating at 1800MHz next to a human head. 1800MHz is one if the frequencies used by mobile phones. The head model contains the dielectric properties of 22 biological materials including, bone, brain, muscle and skin. This animation is also available as an avi file here (please note the avi file is 16MB). The animation was created using Matlab.
