Through hole via

Below is an animation of a Gaussian signal as it passes through a via. A through hole via is used to link the different layers of a multilayer PCB. The input signal is a Gaussian and the field plotted is the magnetic field perpendicular to the area shown. This animation is also available as an avi file here.
