GNSS PhD Summit 2013

The GNSS PhD Summit is a two day conference designed to allow PhD students to present their ideas on satellite navigation/GNSS.

Students will be able to present their findings and discuss them with fellow students, faculty members and peers on an international platform. This could be an excellent networking opportunity and ideal way to start a career by getting in touch with other students and academics from across Europe who are working in a similar field.

Students whose PhD topic is related to the field of satellite navigation/GNSS are welcome at the summit and candidates (preferably in an early stage of their research work) willing to participate should submit an abstract (400-800 words) of their PhD work.

The abstract should include:

• The context of their research
• Motivation, description (formulation) of their problems to solve
• The research design/methodology they follow
• Expected outcomes
• Relevant literature

The number of participants is limited with places awarded on a first come, first served basis and the deadline for applications is 7 October 2013

If you would like to apply, send your application to gnss-sun@unibw.de

Alternatively more information can be found here, and a preliminary programme for the conference can be downloaded here.
