Postgraduate Placements Nottingham

PPN logoPlacements offer many benefits and provide students with the opportunity to develop valuable skills and experience in a work context.  It is also a good opportunity to broaden the range of activities on your CV and increase your employability.

Postgraduate Placements Nottingham (PPN) works with local public and private sector organisations to give postgraduates the chance to complete a variety of work-based projects. 

Placements usually run for 60-90 hours over a semester and application is competitive. Successful students are fully supported throughout the duration of the placement to ensure that they maximise their experience. 

Working with local organisations you will have the opportunity to:

  • learn transferable skills and improve your CV
  • enhance your employability prospects
  • make professional contacts
  • have a chance to earn up to £1,200
  • make an impact on the performance of an external organisation
  • gain experience of different workplaces helping you to decide which career or employer is right for you
  • take a unique approach to organisational research
