About the Medicine and Health Sciences Graduate Centre

The Centre is a dedicated space exclusively for postgraduate students and research staff to relax and offers a wide range of help and support for all during their time as researchers within the Faculty. 

Dr Victoria Sedman is a member of the Graduate School's Researcher Training and Development Team and has specific responsibility for supporting the training and development activities in the Medicine and Health Sciences Graduate Centre.  Dr Victoria Sedman can also be contacted by emailing mhsgc@nottingham.ac.uk.

There is an events calendar with social events to create an early researcher community within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. A programme of careers based seminars run throughout the year covering topics such as career planning and development and research related provisions at Nottingham. Our programme welcomes a range of speakers from across Industry, Academia and the funding bodies. Providing a valuable perspective into a range of jobs, sharing their career stories and offering advice and on what makes successful job and fellowship applicants.
