Congratulations to the U21 Prize winners

Universitas 21 (U21) is an international network of leading research-intensive universities. It aims to facilitate collaboration and co-operation between the member universities and to create entrepreneurial opportunities for them on a scale that none of them would be able to achieve operating independently or through traditional bilateral alliances.

This prize allows full and part-time PhD students to spend a month at a U21 partner institution where they will be able to broaden and deepen their programme of study by having access to colleagues and resources in other research-intensive, international universities.

Winning a U21 Prize Scholarship is a valuable addition to a research student's CV and may also lead to additional esteem factors, such as invitations to conferences or to publish, and possibly job opportunities.

Congratulations to the winners of the May 2012 round!

  • Ms Olga Fernhaloz, Computer Science, Horizon Doctoral Training Centre
  • Mr Arpan Desai, Pharmacy
  • Mr Hao Lan, Economics
  • Mr Davide Girolami, Mathematical Sciences
  • Miss Charlotte Veal, Geography

The deadline for the next funding round is Thursday 22 November 2012.
