Where can I find information on funding for my postgraduate research studies?
The Graduate School works in partnership with academic Schools to ensure the very best students are supported through the scholarship schemes available.
Our funding pages provide useful information on the various sources of funding for postgraduates. You can also contact the school in which you will be studying as they have the knowledge of the best sources of funding for your subject area.

What is the Graduate School Travel Prize?
The Graduate School Travel Prizes support research students to attend a national or international conference to present their research, or make a short visit to another institute to use or consult essential resources.

I have applied for the Graduate School Travel Prize. How long after the deadline will the results be announced?
Normally the results of the Graduate School Travel Prize will be available between 4 and 8 weeks after the deadline closes. The Graduate School will email and post every candidate for his/her result. If you haven't heard from them 8 weeks after the deadline, please email them at
Travel-prize@nottingham.ac.uk.
What are the deadlines for funding applications?
Each individual funding scheme has its own individual deadline for applications. Please see the Graduate School's

What funding opportunities are available for research staff?
The Graduate School provides support, including internal and external funding for research staff:
