The Graduate School and Graduate Centres work closely with the Careers and Employability Service to help you to plan your career and give you the knowledge and techniques which will enable you to effectively present your skills, qualities and experiences to future employers.
Training
The Graduate School provides a range of short training courses, both online and face to face, which help you as a postgraduate researcher to develop valuable transferrable skills, making you more attractive to potential employers.

Careers and Employability Service
Clare Jones is the Careers Adviser for PhD students and is based at the Careers and Employability Service. Clare works closely with the Graduate School and Graduate Centres, delivering some of the training courses and providing guidance and support to postgraduate researchers on an individual basis.
