Be a viva survivor

Many new research students start their studies at the same time as others, but all research students complete their doctoral vivas at different times. Some have already started in new jobs or are located far from Nottingham. Students can be left feeling extremely time constrained and isolated from a common experience.

This means that providing appropriate and accessible support for students about to undertake their viva is both important and logistically challenging.

This webpage brings together details of the extensive range of viva support for students. Some provision is of the traditional workshop style, other, such as the YouTube and iTunes U Examiner FAQS, is web-based.
