Lord Dearing Awards success

We’re pleased to announce that the school has received another three Lord Dearing Awards for excellence in learning and teaching for 2016!

The award recipients are as below:

Patrick Callaghan received an award for the work he has done to transform the student experience of the Masters level quants module, through the introduction of a variety of learning technologies, including the use of personalised audience response units.

Lucie Whitfield received her award for the work that she put into developing the student engagement strategy within the school, including the development of the engagement database. This database has been so successful that similar projects are now underway in other schools across the University.

Julie McGarry and Charley Baker received their award for the tremendous work that they have done around safeguarding, which has been nationally recognised as being best practice.

Congratulations to Patrick, Lucie, Julie and Charley on their success.
