Upendo

Join us for Upendo, an afternoon of film, discussion and performance exploring the LGBTQ community in Africa and its diaspora and issues of human rights, religion and philosophy.

11am – Welcome

11.30am – Stories of Our Lives film screening

12.30pm – Q&A with Aderonke Apata (Nigerian LGBT Rights Advocate)

1pm – Lunch and live music – Parisa East and Collective

2pm – Born This Way film screening

3.30pm – Q&A with LA Skype conversation with Cédric Tchante (featured in the film & LGBT Advocate)

4.30pm – Closing remarks

5pm – Networking and live music
