2017 Staff Engagement Survey

April 13th, 2017

At The University of Nottingham we want to enhance our working environment and develop a culture where staff feel supported, motivated and empowered to do what they do best every day.

From Monday 24 April to Friday 19 May, we will be running the 2017 Staff Engagement Survey which will give you the opportunity to provide specific feedback on how you feel about working for The University of Nottingham. It only takes 5-10 minutes to complete.

The survey will help to make the University a better place to work. The results will provide insights into where our key strengths lie and where there is room for improvement. Following the survey, you will be invited to discuss the results within your teams and play a part in making improvements within your Faculty or Department and the wider University.

The independent research company and experts in staff engagement, Gallup, are supporting us with this work. In our survey we will be measuring Gallup’s Q12; 12 items that measure the core elements of a workplace needed to attract, focus and retain the most talented individuals. We will also be measuring a small number of other key workplace areas for the University.

Confidentiality has been paramount in developing this survey, and will remain so when analysing and disseminating the results. The University will not be provided with individual responses or identifying information. Gallup will provide results only for groups with four or more survey participants.
