Building on the success of the Brexit Briefing workshops recently arranged by the Faculty of Science, two further identical workshops have been scheduled for European staff who have immigration related questions or concerns associated with Brexit.
These will be led again by Alex Russell, who heads up the immigration team at the law firm Mills & Reeve LLP. Alex will cover the impact of the referendum, including recent developments and will explore some of the key points and issues related to applications for permanent residence and British citizenship, looking at some common issues that affect university staff, such as the impact of regular travel abroad.
The workshops will be interactive, with the opportunity to raise questions.
These workshops are scheduled for Thursday 1 March:
- 9.30 am – 12.00 noon at University Park (Physics Building, B23)
- 1.30 pm – 4.00 pm at Jubilee Campus (Exchange Building, CLT2)
