Best Places to Work for Postdocs 2012

The Scientist Readers' Survey

For the past 9 years, The Scientist has surveyed postdocs annually working in the life sciences to find out what they think of their places of work -- their PIs, their work conditions, the value of their postdoc experiences and other factors. These reports have become a valuable resource to those making the choice of where to go for a postdoc, and to companies, individuals and institutions wishing to improve the postdoc experience.

You are invited to complete the online survey Best Places to Work for Postdocs 2012. The report of these results will be published in The Scientist March 2012 issue. Please take a few moments to fill out the survey as completely and accurately as possible. Your responses and ratings will be kept confidential, and will be essential in allowing The Scientist to compile accurate institutional assessments (this is an external survey and website). The only way to nominate your institution is to take the survey.

To complete the survey please visit The Scientist's 2012 Best Places to Work survey and select the Postdoc survey. The survey is open until December 16, 2011.

Check out last year’s top ranking institutions for postdocsindustry, and academia. Winners included universities that embraced their heritage, whisking researchers away to weekend-long Scottish dance parties, and those that enjoyed an eclectic mix of nationalities within their own city limits.
