On 10 December Professor Aoife Nolan, Economic and Social Rights Joint Unit Head, gave a lecture at an event organised by the Scottish Human Rights Commission in association with the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law and the Global Justice Academy, University of Edinburgh on ‘Protecting Economic and Social Rights in Scotland’s Future’. Professor Nolan lectured on ‘What can Scotland learn from international approaches to incorporating economic and social rights?’ James Wolffe QC, Dean of the Faculty of Advocates, Scotland spoke on ‘Economic and social rights in Scotland: lessons from the past; options for the future’.
