Three FRAME reports published

HRLC is pleased to announce the publication of three new reports which were produced as part of the FRAME research project.

The EU’s engagement with the main Business and Human Rights instruments analyses and assesses the activities of the EU in respect of the business and human rights international governance regime. It was written jointly by Professor Mary Footer, Head of HRLC’s Business and Human Rights Unit, Ms Stephanie Bijlmakers and Dr Nicolas Hachez, University of Leuven.

Dr Stuart Wallace, former HRLC Research Fellow, authored a Case Study on Holding Private Military and Security Companies Accountable for Human Rights Violations, which examines how to hold private military and security companies (PMSCs) accountable for human rights violations

Finally, Structures and mechanisms to strengthen engagement with non-state actors in the protection and promotion of human rights seeks to identify steps that the EU can take to streamline and strengthen its engagement with NSAs in the protection and the promotion of human rights. It was co-authored by Professor Jeff Kenner, Project leader for FRAME, Dr Stuart Wallace, Ms Katrina Sissins, HRLC Student Assistant and Mr Pierre Schmitt, University of Leuven.
