Project Summary

A London workshop, jointly planned with Amnesty International, brought together criminal justice experts from around the world to examine and compare different types of national criminal justice systems. The Workshop aimed at better informing the representatives participating in the drafting of the International Criminal Court Statute about the alternative proposals for the procedure to be followed in the ICC’s prosecution and trial of offenders. The collection of Workshop reports were published in Towards a Procedural Regime for the International Criminal Court (2002), edited by Stephen Livingstone.
