Current Opportunities
The Human Rights Law Centre offers University of Nottingham students a range of opportunities to gain practical research and project experience to complement their studies.Opportunities include project-led student research assistance and internships, group-based event organisation such as the Annual Student Human Rights Conference and the Human Rights Film Series, or ad-hoc event support. Each role is advertised at the start of the academic year and students are recruited following a competitive application process.

Student Research Assistance
The Human Rights Law Centre (HRLC) offers Masters and PhD students from Law, Social Sciences and the Humanities various opportunities to work on projects and events in the Centre throughout the year. These positions provide students with a chance to work in a world renowned research centre, gaining valuable work experience and a practical base to complement their academic studies.
Student Research Assistants are selected at the beginning of each academic year. Please check this page again in September!
