Cafés and restaurants

At the University of Nottingham has a range of catering venues across University Park Campus and Jubilee Campus which provide great quality and value for money at all times.

You’ll find dining halls and food courts, cafés and spacious contemporary bistros. Whether you want to pick up a quick sandwich, linger over a latte or sit down for a three-course meal, we’ve got just the right spot for you to do it in.

Art and performance

Lakeside is The University of Nottingham’s public arts centre and plays an integral and inspiring part in Nottingham's cultural life with its fully-accessible and purpose-built venues. More about art and performance at Nottingham.

Centres of Worship

The University has provided a number of prayer rooms for prayer and religious observance.

There is a University Chapel, a centre of silence and prayer, which is open for personal use. It is located on the lower ground floor of the Portland Building (campus map reference 15) and is reached through the Chapel Library.

The University Mosque is situated in Portland Building (campus map reference 15) with Friday prayers at 1 pm. For access to the Muslim prayer rooms, contact the Islamic Society.

Sporting facilities

The Sports Centre, Swimming Pool and fitness centre are located in University Park (campus map reference 4, C4). More information on the sporting facilities.
