Prominent feminist activist Kavita Krishnan to give 2015/16 Tomlinson Lecture

The speaker for the Institute of Asia and Pacific Studies' Tomlinson Memorial Lecture for 2015/16 is Kavita Krishnan, Secretary of the All India Progressive Women's Association. She will speak on 'Violence against women in India: is 'culture' the culprit, or structure?'

Carole Spary, Co-Deputy Director of IAPS, has written this blog post to give some background to Kavita and her involvement in the events subsequent to December 2012 and the banned India's Daughter documentary.
