Such activities might include, for example, participation in workshops or conferences elsewhere, the organisation of similar events at the University of Nottingham, training courses, etc.

Staff seedcorn funding grants

IAPS offers seedcorn funding of up to £1,500 per application to support staff research activities that contribute to IAPS' strategic research areas.

Staff are entitled to apply for these grants in connection with their research, including the organisation of conferences and workshops, and the coordination of grant applications with colleagues from other institutions. The activity must be of direct benefit to IAPS, and priority will be given to applications which can demonstrate that they will lead to a major grant application. Calls for seedcorn funding will be circulated annually.
