Glo-yo

Effective hand washing is the single most effective measure for reducing HAIs, preventing a third of all infections.

In 2010, CHAI researchers developed the Glo-yo, an interactive toy that teaches children how to wash their hands properly. A one-year trial saw a sustained improvement in hand washing.

Additional funding will allow us to evaluate and develop the Glo-yo, while advancing our research into new interventions and policies to prevent and control infections.

My child is definitely more aware about washing her hands.
