Studying at The University of Nottingham was the “main pedestal” that launched me onto my desired career path. I was exposed to scientific, technical and socio-political factors that are crucial in my chosen career. I met people from many different cultures, which broadened my thinking and has helped me to develop an international viewpoint.
I work with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Africa. In Nigeria, I’ve helped mentor more than 20 students, with some securing scholarships to study in the UK, USA and Canada. The mentoring scheme could help to produce some of the country’s future leaders.
