HOUSE

The University’s Nottingham HOUSE (Home Optimising the Use of Solar Energy), built by a team of architecture and engineering students from the Department of the Built Environment, was selected as Britain’s entry in an international house-building competition — the first ever Solar Decathlon Europe.

The event showcased houses from 20 universities around the world, featuring the latest in sustainable solar architecture.
