My Lakeside traineeship was an important and enjoyable part of my time at the University. The opportunity to combine studies with real-life work experience is invaluable and undoubtedly enhanced my CV. The staff at Lakeside gave lots of guidance, advice and support. Prospective employers value the skills and knowledge developed during the traineeship. After graduating I was invited to interviews in several arts organisations and gained employment very soon after. I believe this was directly due to the skills, confidence, and experience that I gained at Lakeside.
