Every step you take will help create a brighter future for children with brain tumours

For 20 years, our Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre at Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre has been at the forefront of leading-edge research and treatment. With your support, we can give every child with a brain tumour the very best chance to continue living as all children should - free from life-limiting brain damage and the constant fear of their tumours returning.

University Park

What to expect

Our action-packed 5km route takes you around the beautiful University Park campus, with a few surprises on the way!

There will be a 'superhero warm-up' led by our Zumba instructors, so make sure you arrive for 10:45am to enjoy this. You will also be able to enjoy our event village, with refreshments, activities and more, all at Nottingham Lakeside Arts.

The route is accessible to wheelchair users and pushchairs. Dogs on leads welcome.

You can make a difference

Take part in our sponsored walk and you can help make cancer treatments safer and more effective for children in urgent need.

There is no minimum fundraising requirement for this event, but we are hoping our superheroes will set a target of at least £60.

Help our superheroes have a safe and fun day

We need help to steward the walk route, making sure that everybody enjoys the day safely. We're looking for volunteers to direct people along the walk route and give help, advice, and information to participants and spectators raising vital funds for the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre.

If this could be you - please apply to be a steward.
