Your support changes lives
Zach was the first in his family to attend University. It was something he had dreamed of from a young age, but due to his financial background didn't think would be possible. With the support of a scholarship, Zach was able to realise his dream of studying Geography.
“As a student from a low-income family, managing financees can often be a struggle. However with your generous donations I was able to purchase text books and set aside money for transport costs to travel to my summer work experience placement with chartered surveyors, Colliers International, ” Zach said.
“Studying geography at a prestigious university had been my dream from a young age. I am so thankful that with the help and support of Nottingham alumni and friends of the University, this dream became a reality and I started my degree in 2015. Thank you for believing in me."
