New MA in Teaching English for Academic Purposes (TEAP)

The University of Nottingham's School of Education has just announced a new distance learning MA programme in Teaching English for Academic Purposes (TEAP).

The course aims to equip students with the skills necessary to become a competent, research-informed and innovative English for Academic Purposes (EAP) practitioner.

The online materials will provide an interactive learning experience, and allow students to make decisions about which aspects of a module to work on when, at what pace, and in which order. Students will be encouraged to interact with other course participants, and the module units will involve group activities such as using blogs, wikis, and discussion boards. You will be in regular contact with tutors via email, chat, discussion boards and Skype.
There will be three start dates per year, in September, January and May.
