You can apply for this scholarship if you
-
are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) the USA AND
-
are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
-
already hold an offer to start a full-time Masters degree programme (including MRes) at Nottingham in September 2012 – any subject area (excluding MBA)
In partnership with our alumni association – The Friends of The University of Nottingham: America – we will also award one $6,000 from the applications above
The closing date for applications is 8th June 2012 – 12 mid-day (UK time)
We aim to notify applicants of the outcome within 6 weeks of the closing date

Fulbright Awards – The University of Nottingham is delighted to offer one fee-waiver each year, in partnership with the Fulbright Commission, for a graduate student to pursue a one year Masters degree programme at The University of Nottingham, any subject area. Students must apply to The University of Nottingham for a place of study, and separately to the Fulbright Commission for scholarship consideration – more information and an application form
Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. The University of Nottingham is pleased to offer a Scholarship for Graduate study in any subject at either Masters or Doctoral level. The award will be for two years (with a possibility of a third year for doctoral studies) – more information
US Federal Loans – The University of Nottingham is eligible to certify loan applications for the Federal Direct Loan Program (FDLP). These include Stafford Loans and Graduate Plus Loans.
