Meeting at the Royal Society of Medicine in London
Thirty researchers representing each of the InterPregGen groups investigating the genetic basis of pre-eclampsia met at the Royal Society of Medicine in London UK on April 10th and 11th. This annual consortium meeting is a valuable opportunity to meet one another, as our groups are widely dispersed over a distance of 6000 kilometres. Although we hold online meetings at least once a month, there is nothing better than a face-to-face meeting for sharing news and solving problems. Each group reported on their progress and plans for the remaining two years of the study. There were research presentations covering topics ranging from the clinical impact of pre-eclampsia to the sophisticated methods now available for analysing the results of genetic studies such as InterPregGen.
