The University voicemail system is a personalised messaging service which allows users to leave personal greetings and receive voice messages in their individual mailbox.
This is a subscription based service that costs £1 per month, charged alongside the line rental of your phone. Voicemail can be requested from the IT Service Desk.

Voicemail users can now arrange to be notified of new messages by email giving details of the caller's name and number, time/date of the call and message duration. This may be particularly useful for staff in open plan office areas.
To use this email feature, please contact the IT Service Desk requesting that email notification be added to your voicemail account. Users must have a nottingham.ac.uk email address.
Users can change personal greetings to let their callers know when is the best time to reach them or provide an alternative number or email address if they are likely to be away for some time.
