Joining

NHS staff employed by the University Hospitals NHS Trust may register at the Greenfield Medical Library, which will allow access to all of the libraries within the University Library system including:

• Hallward Library (Arts and Social Sciences)
• George Green Library (Sciences, Psychology, Engineering)
• Djanogly learning Resource Centre (Education and Computing Science)
• Business Library (Business, Management)

Please note that registration cards may be obtained from the Lending Desk between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please bring your NUH/NHS ID with you when you register. Membership will be renewed annually before 31st December each year.

Staff may borrow 12 items at any one time and make up to 10 Inter Library Loan requests per year at £2.50 each.

NHS staff employed by other Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Trusts may borrow from the Greenfield Medical Library only. Staff may borrow up to 12 items and will also need to bring their Trust ID card when they register.

NHS staff working in GP Surgerys and members of the public are welcome to register as external borrowers and may make use of the reservation system and the enquiry service.

The Library operates an access management system which requires all users (University and NHS) to be registered with the Library.
