Institute for Science and Society to lead major project on making science public

Description
Brigitte Nerlich is to lead a multi-disciplinary project with colleagues across The University of Nottingham and in collaboration with The University of Sheffield and The University of Warwick, to make the practice, use and assessment of science more public, open, transparent and democratic.

Professor Nerlich receives highest academic honour for work on 'Science and Society'

Description
Professor Brigitte Nerlich of the University's Institute for Science and Society and the School of Sociology and Social Policy is to be awarded a Doctor of Letters (D.Litt) at the winter graduation ceremony for her published work in the field of 'Science and Society'.

New research project investigates climate change as a complex social issue
