The University's Centre for Career Development also provides a useful information service about further studies and sources of funding for graduates.
Many students fund themselves; banks are usually helpful and career development loans available. Alternatively, current employers may be approached for secondment.

Home and European Union students
Institute Scholarships (taught masters programmes)
The Institute is offering up to 4 partial fees scholarships of £1,000 each for full-time study on one of its taught Masters programmes in 2012-2013.
To be eligible for these awards your fee status must be either Home or European Union and you must be holding an offer of a place on one of our full-time MSc programmes. Where applicants are in receipt of other funding any award made will be reduced by the amount of that alternative funding.
Please note these awards are for the 2012-2013 session only and cannot be deferred. The deadline for receipt of applications is 31 May 2012. Awards will be granted on the basis of academic merit and successful applicants will be notified by 31 July 2012. Institute Alumni Bursary
UK graduates of the University of Nottingham who register on one of the Institute's MSc programmes may be eligible for a 10% tuition fee bursary. To qualify for the bursary, students must have completed a minimum of three years’ study at undergraduate level and have graduated with either a first or a 2.1.
Application forms will be available from the Institute after registration in September 2012.
EU and overseas graduates of the University of Nottingham are eligible for the University of Nottingham Alumni Scholarship offered through the University’s International Office and further information is available on the International Office scholarships page.
Overseas students

Scholarships offered through the International Office
Competitive Scholarships: The University offers a range of competitive scholarships for international students.
Non-Competitive Scholarships: Through its International Office the University of Nottingham also offers a number of additional scholarship schemes for overseas students. These include the University of Nottingham Alumni Scholarship, an automatic 10% fees bursary offered to overseas and European Union graduates from the University of Nottingham who continue on to higher degrees at Nottingham. Similar schemes exist for Alumni of Universitas 21 Institutions and non-UK former Study Abroad and International Exchange Alumni. There is also a Family Scholarship (10% fees bursary) offered to students (European Union or overseas) who have family who are students or graduates of the University of Nottingham.

MSc Occupational Health Psychology
BP is offering a competitive fees scholarship (up to £4,890) for full-time study on this programme in 2012-2013. The scholarship is open to all applicants regardless of fee status and awards will be made on the basis of academic merit, abilities and potential. Applications should be made in writing to Professor Amanda Griffiths (amanda.griffiths@nottingham.ac.uk) explaining why you feel you deserve a scholarship/support and the ways in which studying for this programme will benefit you and others in your future career. MSc Workplace Health & Wellbeing
BP is offering a competitive full-fees scholarship for 2012 entry to this course. The scholarship is open to all applicants regardless of fee status and awards will be made onte basis of academic merit, abilities and potential. Learning Beyond Registration (LBR)
Applicants who will be employed by the NHS in the East Midlands while they are undertaking their studies may be eligible to apply for Learning Beyond Registration (LBR) funding through the East Midlands Healthcare Workforce Deanery. Funding will be available for both full programmes and individual modules. Further information is available on the LBR Website.
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
