- £15356 to £16289 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
Applications are invited for the above role to join a team of technicians providing essential basic laboratory support to research and teaching laboratories in the School of Life Sciences to support the safe and effective operation of research and teaching activities. This role involves a moderate amount of physical activity, standing for much of the time, including lifting, carrying and moving materials and equipment and working across a number of locations within walking distance. Full training will be given.
The successful candidate must have a good standard of education evidenced by GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English plus previous work experience or previous work experience in a relevant role.
This is a part time (24 hours per week) temporary post fixed term for 12 months.
