Associate Professor of Social Work: £50,618 - £60,410 per annum
Professor of Social Work: Salary will be within the Professorial range, minimum £60,410 per annum
Applications are invited for the post of Associate Professor or Professor of Social Work in the School of Sociology and Social Policy. We will consider an appointment at either Associate or full Professor, depending on relevant knowledge, skills and experience. The successful candidate will provide research and teaching leadership within the School’s Centre for Social Work and more generally across the School. The School offers professionally accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and is an active member of a local Teaching Partnership. The post holder will have extensive experience of leading and developing teaching programmes in social work.
Candidates should have an established and widely recognised reputation for excellence in the field along with an outstanding track record of research in social work with children and families and expertise to enable the development of new knowledge, innovation and understanding in the field.

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in social work. This post will be offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
