University Park and Jubilee Campus

JVRC2011 will take place at the Business School South Building on the University of Nottingham’s award winning Jubilee Campus opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 1999. The Jubilee Campus consists of a series of lakes which, as well as being home to a variety of wildlife, provide storm water attenuation and cooling for the buildings. The environmentally-friendly nature of the campus and its buildings has received 5 national awards and international praise with the Energy Globe Award. It also is the location of the tallest piece of public artwork in the UK, the “Aspire” a 60m high steel structure by designer Ken Shuttleworth.
