Doctor Mulgrew gives guest lecture at The University of Amsterdam

On Tuesday 12 May, Doctor Róisín Mulgrew led a seminar with postgraduate law students at the University of Amsterdam.

The seminar on 'International Punishment' was delivered as part of the course on 'Sanctierecht' (Sanctioning Law). This module is convened by Associate Professor Denis Abels from the Criminal Law Department of the Law Faculty.

During the class, the students learned about and discussed issues related to international penalties, international sentencing objectives and methods for enforcing international sentences of imprisonment.
