An Cuypers joined the Human Rights Law Centre as Research and Project Officer in March 2015. An holds an LLM in Human Rights Law (with distinction) from the University of Nottingham. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Law focusing on criminal law, international law and European law (with distinction) from the University of Leuven (Belgium).
She has worked previously on gender-based violence at the European Institute for Gender Equality (Vilnius) and at the Belgian division of the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights (Strasbourg).
