Biography

Anita is a postgraduate research student at the School of Law. Prior to this, she studied for an LL.M. degree at the University of Leicester, graduated with distinction, and was awarded the School of Law postgraduate prize. She has a first degree in law and practised law for some time before commencing postgraduate studies.

Anita's area of interest is international human rights law. Her research considers certain aspects of the relationship between economic and social rights, and human security. She has a School of Law postgraduate research scholarship; and her research is supervised by Professor Therese Murphy and Professor Aoife Nolan.
